St. Peter's Church is a Streatham-based Anglican church, with an emphasis on community, fellowship and worship. As a personal project, I wanted to give my own spin with a rebrand.
The aim was to convey a warm and welcoming feel, whilst giving a sense of timelessness. The church has been around since the late
19th century, but is still a very prevalent location in the community.
a sense of belonging
For the logo design, various Christian and Anglican religious symbols were explored. This includes the Christian cross, the Chi Rho and St. Peter's symbol.
Eventually decided on 3 overlapping circles to represent community, fellowship and friendship aspects. These revealed the Ichthys "fish" symbol to represent Jesus.
